David Carroll

Founder / Board President

A lifelong love of theatre and a role in Guys and Dolls inspired our Board President, David Carroll, to found Nicely Theatre Group in 2020. David serves as Executive Producer for Nicely’s shows, which means he focuses on contracts, legal, insurance, accounting, ticket sales, marketing, and the overall audience experience. Carrol is also a co-producer of the hit Broadway musical “SUFFS.”

Prior to his retirement in 2016, David worked for Rocket Mortgage for 25+ years.


Mitch Master

Creative Director / Board Vice President

Mitch Master (Director/Actor) Nicely Theatre Group founding Artistic Director/Board Vice President since 2020 and Frankel Jewish Academy's Director of the Performing Arts and Theatre Manager since 2000. In an illustrious career, Mitch has directed more than 100 musical/drama theatre productions and performed in more than 50 stage productions.

Mitch has taught and directed adult and youth theatre programs at The Berman Center of the Performing Art Center’s PAIJ Players, Roeper Summer Stock Theatre, Bloomfield Players, Birmingham Village Players, The Community House Sara Smith Productions, Cranbrook Theatre School, Detroit Country Day School, Seaholm High School, Birmingham Public Education, Kingswood Boys and Girls Middle School, UCLA’s “Bruin Kids” in Los Angeles, Marvin L. Winans Academy of the Performing Arts in Detroit, and founded Birmingham's Village “Youth” Players.

Nicole Broughton-Adams

Director of Production

Nicole Broughton-Adams joins Nicely Theatre Group as Director of Production. Nicole is the Program Director for the MA Arts Administration Program in the Horace Rackham Graduate School on the University of Michigan-Flint campus.  Nicole also teaches Stage Management, Production Management and Arts Administration.  Prior to working at the University Nicole was the Production Manager and Technical Director for BoarsHead Theatre.  In 2005 she received her MFA in Production Technology Management from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.  Other companies she has worked with include: Flint Youth Theatre, Shop Floor Theatre Company, Unicorn Theatre and Michigan Shakespeare Festival.

Leslie Andrews

Board Secretary

After a highly successful tenure as the Director of Community Relations and Corporate Partnerships for Rock Ventures, parent company to Rocket Mortgage, Leslie Andrews launched Daisy Ventures LLC. She is currently the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Advancement at the National Urban League.

A seasoned nonprofit community development executive with a background in corporate philanthropy and radio media sales, Andrews is passionate about the role corporations and private entities can play in the lives of citizens. She continues to mentor numerous nonprofit leaders, college and high school students, and young women entering the workforce.
