Bronzeville Gold
Bronzeville Gold, written by Anetria Cole, is the story of a Black couple living in the deep south in the 1930s who face a difficult decision. Cole explored her interest in the history of African American men and women who operated illegal numbers rackets that gainfully employed African Americans in the early 20th century. Directed by Jerry Haines, Bronzeville Gold stars Dez Walker and Terri Manning.
True Confessions
True Confessions is a comedic short about an affable ex-con and his demanding parole officer, and how an accidental confession leads to a surprising revelation. Written by Marilyn Zerlak, the Farmington Players Barn Theater first presented True Confessions on stage during the Players’ Inaugural One-Act Festival in June 2019. Directed by Kelli Crump, the play features local actors Brian Taylor, Dan Johnson, Erica Franklin, and JM Ethridge.
